Use faster the modules

Introduction

It can be interesting to sign a photo. However, it takes time for each image. So we can use the preset in darktable.

It will use two modules :

• framing
• watermark

Summary

• modules configuration
• recording in a style
• configuration of preset in export module

Configuration

Each style has its parameters. It is necessary to have a style for each framing.

Framing

I speak about a clean frame so in white. The parametrics when opening the module are clear. I modify only the border size.

Watermark

Select simple-text in marker menu to have your name signature. Personalize the color, size and font.

Style creation

Select the two modules and creat a signature style.

Preset export

The preset use the style to create the fram and signature. You have to select in the appropriate menu. In addition, you can select the file and the size of the export. Beware of selecting the mode “append history” to add and not to replace development.

Conclusion

You can use a shortcut to apply faster the style and export.
